Overview of the Position: Oversee all engineering and sourcing requirements for commercial aircraft aftermarket parts.

• Design commercial aircraft aftermarket parts by reverse engineering.
• Use standard measurement tools such as micrometer or caliper to gather dimensional data.
• Create 3D CAD models and dimensional data reports from reverse engineering data.
• Create manufacturing drawings from dimensional reports, material analysis, and available technical data.
• Manage multiple reverse engineering projects simultaneously.
• Prepare reports and data packages to be submitted to the FAA for certification.

• Write routine reports and correspondence.
• Apply mathematical concepts.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Computer skills:
  Microsoft Office Suite; experience with 3D CAD modeling, Solid Works preferred.

Education / Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. Engineering experience preferred.
