McWane Ductile
- Utah is in need of an Engineer Project Manager
. We are a world class manufacturer of ductile iron pipes and have been in operation since 1926.
This position will be responsible for planning, overseeing and leading projects. Working with stakeholders and other engineers in the department to collaborate on combined projects and closing projects out.
Responsibilities- Oversee multiple projects from conception to completion.
- Oversee design, installation, and operation of new and modified equipment.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Research and analyze vendor design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other data to evaluate feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of designs or applications.
- Maintains product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations.
- Work closely with the maintenance department to coordinate the installation of new equipment and help set up maintenance procedures.
- Will also be working closely with outside contractors.
- Communicates with management on cost, design, and schedule of projects.
- Any additional responsibilities as assigned.

Work EnvironmentHeavy industrial setting will be involved in working around molten metal.
Physical DemandsStanding for long periods of time, walking to different parts of the plant as needed, may involve some lifting of up to 30 lbs.
Position type and expected hours of workFull time hours schedule is day shift, and hours are minimum of 40.
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or other related discipline preferred.
- 3 years of project management experience preferred.
- Experience with large manufacturing facilities preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects and make decisions.
- Demonstrated knowledge in manufacturing/assembly procedures.
- Evaluate equipment designs and schematics to ensure project requirements will be met.
- Ability to work well individually and as part of a group.
- Solid works or equivalent.
- Proficiency with MS office programs required.
