What is the compensation?

Pay:
Payment will be by direct deposit. Payment is given based on shifts. Shifts are approximately 40-50 minutes in length. Pay level is distinguished based on years in the position with Provo City.

• Hire - $15.00 per shift
• 1 year - $16.66 per shift
• 2 year - $18.33 per shift
• 3 year - $20.00 per shift

Assist children to and from school at designated crosswalks at their assigned post. Assist the crossing guard supervisor as needed and perform other related duties as required.

Must be able to respond to work site twice per day and work in adverse weather conditions and heavy vehicle and pedestrian traffic. Requires visual and hearing abilities sufficient to safely perform the duties. Must have good rapport with children.

NOTE:

Individuals applying for this position must be at least 18 years of age and have their own transportation.

Location and hours of position will be discussed at time of interview.

Work requires exposure to all weather conditions, working in and around heavy traffic, and standing and walking for extended periods.
