Provo City is looking for a part-time Parking Enforcement Officer to join our Development Services Team. Civic-minded, qualified applicants interested in supporting the Provo City community by performing the work described here are encouraged to apply.
** Job Details**$18.00 per hour. * Patrol, on foot and/or by vehicle, designated areas for parking violations.
* Safely operate department vehicles.
* Cite violators.
* Assist other team members as needed and perform other related duties as required.
* Sufficient knowledge and/or experience that demonstrates an ability to perform the duties of the job.
* Basic computer knowledge is desired.
* Must be 18 years of age and be able to respond to the work site within 20 minutes in emergency situations.
* Valid, lawful Utah driver license.
* * Applicant may be disqualified for consideration on the basis of an unacceptable driving record as reflected by the State Department of Motor Vehicles.
* This position works 20 to 25 hours per week, Monday through Saturday. Schedule is flexible between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. and will be determined with supervisor.

Applicants must meet the minimum qualifications listed above to be eligible for consideration.

If selected for hire, candidate will be required to successfully pass a drug screen and criminal background check. Non-disclosure may result in dismissal. Applicants with unsatisfactory drug screen results will be ineligible for appointment or application to any Provo City position for a minimum period of six (6) months.
