Note:

This is a part-time position (20 hours per week) and a temporary role with a duration of approximately 1 to 6 months.

The mission of the Student Health Center (SHC) is to create the best possible experience for the patient by providing quality healthcare services, with compassion and efficiency, in a Christ-centered environment. As a member of the SHC team, the Radiology Practical Technician will carry out the mission statement and assist clinicians by knowing the job well and performing it efficiently.

• Responds promptly, professionally and courteously to patients’ needs
• Provides efficient, effective patient care in compliance with clinic policies and procedures, legal and regulatory standards
• Prepare patients for exam; interview patients and ensure all pertinent information is available to the physician
• Maintain clean and orderly exam rooms; ensure rooms are stocked with needed supplies and equipment; clean and sterilize instruments following clinic policy and procedures
• Perform x-rays in all certified areas; input images to PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) and EMR (Centricity)
• Maintain CPR and RPT certification
• Attend meetings as required

• Pay Grade: 50
• Typical Starting Pay: $24.50 - $31.75
