Radiology Technologist – PRN Float Pool

Pay Range: $29.14 – $44.94/hour (dependent upon experience)

This PRN Float Pool position provides coverage for multiple clinics in the Canyons South Market, including Utah County, Park City, and Heber. While Utah Valley Clinic is the home base, travel between clinics is required, and mileage reimbursement may apply.

• Shift: Hours vary based on clinic needs
• Training:
  Must be completed within 4 weeks; PRN caregivers work at least 4 shifts per month
• Float Pool Coverage:
  Clinics open as early as 6:30 AM and as late as midnight (Insta Care)
• Shifts:
  
  Typically 8–12 hours; full shift coverage required
• Additional Duties:
  Insta Care Rad Techs also assist as modified Medical Assistants; MA Foundations training provided if needed

• Maintain ARRT competency and perform exams per protocol
• Ensure accurate patient identification and order verification
• Adhere to radiation safety and infection control standards
• Review images for quality and accuracy
• Provide patient education and comfort
• Assist students and peers with protocols and positioning
• Operate imaging equipment and maintain accurate records
• Follow protocols for coding, charging, consents, and QC programs

• ARRT(R) Certification
• Radiologic Technologist License (State Issuing Authority)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Ability to complete MA Competency Checklist and assist in clinic settings

• 1–2 years radiology experience
• IV Certification
