Join Wasatch Behavioral Health in Provo, Utah, as a Part Time, ON CALL Behavioral Specialist with the Intensive Residential Treatment Center. This role supports individuals with high behavioral needs by applying your expertise onsite to guide clients toward positive behavioral changes. The position offers a competitive pay range of $16.49-$20.90 per hour.
Responsibilities- Develop and support client development and social adjustment through interactive processes and role modeling.
- Provide personalized assistance to clients, aid in goal setting and social norm coaching.
- Implement behavioral modification treatment programs, supervise clients, and facilitate instructional activities to promote psychosocial skills.
- Manage crisis situations, conduct vocational skills training, and teach independent living skills.
- Document client behaviors and collaborate with licensed staff to address behavioral concerns.
- High school diploma or GED.
- One year of post-high school education in social work, psychology, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Or a related field and one year of general work experience; or an equivalent combination of related education and experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; attention to detail; ability to document client behaviors accurately; crisis management ability.
This is a ON CALL, Part-time position with availability Sunday-Saturday (days/evenings; varies).
Salary: $16.49 - $20.90 per hour.
Employment DetailsEmployment at Wasatch Behavioral Health is contingent upon successful completion of a drug screen, motor vehicle record review, and criminal background check. After hire, a Criminal Background Clearance (BCI) from the Utah State Office of Licensing may be required. Upon receipt of a conditional offer, provide an official copy of licensure or certification if applicable.
