Job Description:We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Therapist to join our team. This role provides counseling and therapy services to individuals, couples, and families within a university setting, supporting emotional, relational, and mental well-being.
The ideal candidate is client-centered, collaborative, and committed to ethical, evidence-based care.
Spanish-speaking therapists are strongly preferred
, and candidates may be required to pass a Spanish language aptitude assessment.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate emotional, psychological, and relational needs.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on client goals and clinical presentation.
- Provide individual, couples, and family therapy addressing issues such as:
- Mental health concerns
- Communication and relationship challenges
- Conflict resolution
- Parenting and family dynamics
- Life transitions and crisis situations
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic models and interventions.
- Support clients in developing coping strategies, problem-solving skills, and healthy relationships.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals (psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, etc.) to coordinate care.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Provide education on mental health, emotional regulation, and effective communication.
- Stay current with research and best practices in therapy and clinical care.
- Master’s degree or higher in:
- Marriage and Family Therapy
- Clinical Mental Health Counseling
- Social Work
- Psychology or a related field
- Current licensure as CMHC, MFT, or LCSW (or eligibility and active pursuit of licensure, if applicable).
- Experience providing therapy in a clinical or counseling setting.
- Strong knowledge of therapeutic modalities and assessment practices.
- Excellent communication, active listening, and empathy skills.
- Ability to foster a safe, respectful, and nonjudgmental therapeutic environment.
- Proficiency in assessment, treatment planning, and clinical documentation.
- Spanish fluency strongly preferred

- Part time or full time options available.
- Competitive pay - Therapist’s pay will range from $40/hr to $80+/hr depending on experience and licensure.
