Our platform runs on the Signals Data Engine trained on more than a billion conversations in order to deliver agents that learn quickly, adapt in real time, and drive measurable outcomes. On‑site only:
This position is not remote. You must be able to work from our Provo, Utah office during normal business hours (Monday–Friday). Occasional evenings or weekends may be needed for critical launches and go‑lives.

• Design, build, and scale production systems across the stack (frontend and backend) to power our AI conversation and workflow platform.
• Lead architecture for microservices and event‑driven systems while setting patterns for reliability, performance, and observability.
• Ship high‑quality, secure features from spec to production including API design, data modeling, code reviews, CI/CD, and instrumentation.
• Collaborate with AI and Product teams to turn business problems into robust software that integrates prompts, automations, and guardrails.
• Improve developer experience through testing strategies, build pipelines, documentation, and operational runbooks.
• Mentor early and mid‑career engineers while raising the bar on code quality and engineering excellence.
• Partner with Customer Success during go‑lives to ensure smooth deployments and capture learnings.

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building and shipping production systems at scale.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/Type Script and a modern frontend framework (React, Vue, or similar) plus HTML/CSS and responsive design.
• Backend expertise in Go, Rust, or Python (Go preferred) with a strong understanding of API design, concurrency, and performance tuning.
• Deep experience with Postgre
  
  SQL including indexing, query optimization, and migrations with a pragmatic approach to data modeling.
• Solid background in RESTful services, microservices architecture, and distributed systems.
• Hands‑on experience with Docker and containerized deployments; familiarity with Kubernetes is a plus.
• Strong communicator who can explain tradeoffs to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and motivated to deliver outcomes in a startup environment.

• Ramp on Signals architecture, tooling, and the Data Engine. Ship an improvement across the stack and add dashboards or alerts. Propose an RFC to strengthen reliability or performance.
• Take ownership of a service or domain from roadmap to SLOs. Introduce or refine an event‑driven workflow to improve throughput or latency. Work with AI and Product to product ionize an agent‑powered feature with success metrics.
• Lead a cross‑functional epic from design through launch. Mentor a teammate on a complex PR and document a reusable playbook. Present a short internal tech talk on a system you improved.

• Event‑driven architecture, Pub/Sub, Web Sockets, WebRTC, and Redis.
• Cloud experience (GCP, AWS, or Azure) and Infrastructure‑as‑Code familiarity.
• Kubernetes operations and performance tuning.
• HTMX, Tailwind, Daisy
  
  UI, or modern design systems.
• Experience with AI/LLM‑powered products, including prompt design and evaluation.
• Security and privacy practices that support compliance.
