Joseph Thomas Real Estate (JTRE) is looking for an experienced, motivated leader to oversee our property management operations and help take our company to the next level.
We currently manage more than 1,100 residential units
, primarily in Provo and Orem, Utah. This position will oversee a team of approximately 10 to 15 employees, including portfolio managers, onsite personnel, and maintenance staff.
We're looking for someone who can lead people, strengthen our systems, improve accountability, and take ownership of our day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, manage, and develop a team of approximately 12 employees.
- Oversee portfolio managers, onsite staff, and maintenance operations.
- Manage leasing, resident relations, property accounting, and overall operations.
- Establish clear responsibilities, balance workloads, and hold teams accountable.
- Build and implement effective policies, procedures, and operating standards.
- Coach employees, develop future leaders, and make important staffing decisions.
- Monitor property conditions, financial performance, and operational results.
- Identify problems, implement solutions, and ensure consistent follow-through.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has significant experience in property management and team leadership.
- Is organized, decisive, and comfortable making difficult decisions.
- Knows how to build strong teams and hold people accountable.
- Can develop systems and processes that actually get implemented.
- Is willing to roll up their sleeves and lead by example.
- Takes ownership of results rather than simply managing tasks.
We're a growing, privately owned company where your decisions will matter
. This isn't a position where you'll be buried in layers of corporate management.
You will have real authority, direct access to ownership, and the opportunity to lead a team of approximately 10 to 15 people while shaping how our company operates for years to come.
Compensation: $80,000-$100,000 annually, depending on experience, plus performance-based bonus opportunities.
