Job Description:

Prosteel, is seeking motivated and dedicated Production Workers to join our team. As a Production Worker (Welder/Grinder), you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, contributing to the production of high-quality products that meet our customers' expectations. • MIG Welding
• The production schedule must be structured in a manner that maximizes production efficiencies with minimal downtime and still meets customer needs.
• Reports to department Supervisor
• This position involves physical work that may exert up to 50 and may consistently require lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise moving objects. The position may involve moving heavy equipment
• Basic hand tools as required to complete the tasks assigned
• Previous experience with firearms safes is a plus
• Ensures quality of all products produced and performs quality checks
• Maintains good housekeeping in areas assigned
• Works safely and follows all safety rules and operational procedures
• Always keeps assigned work area clean
• Understands all safety devices and their operation. Notifies management if safety devices are malfunctioning or missing prior to operation
• Safely operates all lifting devices by manufacturing specifications
• Forklift Experience is a plus

• Pre-employment drug screening
• Pass Pulmonary Test (Paint Dept. Only)
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

• Manufacturing facility - exposed to heat and cold
• Personal Protective Equipment is always required.
• Noise controlled environment.
• Activity level is high - continuous overhead crane and forklift movement
