What a day looks likeYou start by gathering everything you need to set the floor up for success: packing slips, the OJR, ship records, and any ship-pending items. You print, staple, and sort those packing slips so the team can move fast. As orders flow, you keep the OJR accurate by entering dates, tracking the status of jobs (including “to inventory” work), and attaching any emailed directions to the relevant paperwork.
Mid-morning, you connect with Account Managers by email or in person to clarify priorities. You help train new teammates on our processes and pass clear instructions along to Team Leaders—while remaining a hands‑on production contributor (this role does not delegate or assign work on behalf of management). You pull and pack smaller orders yourself, maintain our box inventory, and keep an eye on overage counts.
When hardware or packing materials run low, you place orders so every pull is complete. You operate a forklift as needed, and you immediately report any signage-related issues to management. Throughout the shift, you uphold safety and cleanliness standards.
