Action Target in Provo, Utah is hiring a Press Operator for their swing shift at $ 16 per hour. You'll be forming precision sheet metal parts for shooting ranges, steel targets, and tactical training systems used by law enforcement, military, and civilian shooters worldwide. This is a temp-to-hire role — most operators convert to full-time permanent employees after 320 hours.
What You'll Do- Operate press brake or forming equipment to bend and shape sheet metal parts to engineering specifications
- Read and interpret engineering drawings to set up and run parts correctly
- Use precision measuring tools to verify dimensions and ensure parts are within tolerance
- Inspect your own work throughout the shift — you own the quality of what you produce
- Participate in daily team huddles to align on production goals and priorities
- Contribute to process improvement projects as opportunities arise
- Ability to read a tape measure and use basic measuring tools
- Ability to read engineering drawings or a strong willingness to learn
