Spark Academy is a co‑ed, residential treatment program for adolescents specializing in neurodiversity. The students in Spark Academy struggle with challenges from high‑functioning Autism Spectrum Disorder and other similar diagnoses. Spark Academy is seeking dynamic and passionate life coaches to join our team! As a life coach at Spark Academy, you'll have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of teenagers, helping them discover their passions and reach their full potential.
You'll work with them one‑on‑one, in small groups, and participate side‑by‑side in activities to help them develop life skills, set and achieve goals, and build confidence and resilience.

Schedule- Monday, Wednesday, Friday 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
- Monday, Wednesday, Friday 2:30 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
- Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
- Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday 2:30 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
- Sunday rotation: one Sunday every four weeks, 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully coach and mentor adolescents.
- Assertiveness to learn and continually enhance knowledge and understanding of neurodiversity and mental health.
- Good energy and ability to work in all weather conditions.
- Engaging and empathetic character, with a balance of tenacity and determination.
- Good problem‑solving, decisiveness, and teamwork skills.
- Proficient in communication and interpersonal relationship skills.
- Develop close, personal, and emotionally supportive relationships with the students to coach them in their treatment progression.
- Implement clinical treatment plans as outlined by the Treatment Team. Ensure that a healthy, comfortable, safe, and caregiving environment is maintained.
- Participate in a wide variety of activities with the students, encouraging and supporting them to develop the skills associated with activities such as sports, bike riding, skiing, rock climbing, hiking, and swimming.
- Use a variety of mediation and intervention techniques to redirect students who need support and guidance during escalated moments.
- Transport the students to and from off‑campus appointments and activities using company vehicles.
- Must be at least 20 years of age or older.
- Physical ability to provide interventions, such as safety holds.
- Valid driver’s license and no more than one traffic violation on a driving record in the past three years to be approved to transport students using company vehicles.
- Proficiency and fluency in speaking, understanding, reading, and writing English.
