Recreation Facility Supervisor (Evenings)

Compensation:

Pay Rate: $13.00 - $18.00 per hour (depending on experience)

• Oversee operations and staff for the ice arena.
• Ensure the facility and its programs are maintained throughout a scheduled shift including admissions, rentals, concessions, and general facility maintenance and upkeep.
• Manage patron concerns, safety incidents, and crowd flow.
• Assist full-time personnel and other employees as required.

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Sufficient experience and/or training which would demonstrate an ability to successfully perform the duties of the job.
• Ability to learn quickly.
• Customer service experience required.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

These positions oversee the Ice Arena Monday-Friday during the night time shift from approximately 5:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. About 15-25 hours a week.

This position requires interaction with the public in busy and often stressful circumstances. This position is indoors with specialty conditions that are associated with operating an ice rink including cool temperatures and bright lights.

This position is open until filled and will be closed when sufficient, qualified applications to proceed with a competitive selection process have been received (at least seven days). If selected for hire, candidate will be required to successfully pass a drug screen and criminal background check. Non-disclosure may result in dismissal. Applicants with unsatisfactory drug screen results will be ineligible for appointment or application to any Provo City position for a minimum period of six (6) months.
