Temporary General Labor – Sandbag Filling

Temporary / Short-Term We are hiring Temporary General Laborers for a short-term project lasting approximately 1–3 days. Workers will assist a construction crew with filling and handling sandbags.

• Fill sandbags using a shovel.
• Lift, carry, stack, and move filled sandbags.
• Assist with general cleanup and organization of the work area.
• Follow instructions from the onsite supervisor.
• Follow all required jobsite safety procedures.
• Perform other basic general labor duties related to the project as needed.

• Able to perform repetitive physical labor throughout the shift.
• Able to shovel sand and repeatedly lift and move filled sandbags.
• Comfortable working outdoors and in changing weather conditions.
• Dependable and able to report to work on time.
• Must follow all jobsite safety requirements.
• Must wear required PPE.

This is a very short-term assignment expected to last approximately 1–3 days. Applicants should understand that this is temporary project work and does not guarantee work beyond the completion of the project.
