- Hillcrest Hospital Pryor is a 48-bed acute care hospital that provides a range of health care services to the community, including emergency services, urology, ENT, gastroenterology, cardiology, orthopedics, general surgery and wound care.
- Operate the x-ray rooms, C-arms, and portables in a safe and proficient manner.
- Transport patients, handle telephone calls for scheduling, and answer questions related to exam reports.
- Handle patient support equipment (e.g., IV pumps, O2, etc.).
- Assist with room and equipment cleaning, order supplies, assist physicians with invasive procedures, and administer basic CPR. Support the Imaging department daily operations.
- Be a current student or graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology and be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or be registry eligible.
- Maintain a high standard of imaging with a minimum of repeats.
- Have thorough knowledge of x-ray equipment, anatomy, and positioning for quality exams.
- Coordinate patient prepping and scanning to maximize smooth patient flow.
- Assist with moving patients when needed and demonstrate knowledge of contrast media injections and reactions.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives and assist with day-to-day department operations.
- Provide care appropriate to the age of patients served and apply age-specific needs per the department competency plan.
Job Requirements
- Radiology Tech training
- ARRT or ARRT Registry eligible (within one year of hire)
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

- X-ray and CT experience
