Responsibilities- Troubleshoot, repair, and correct mechanical, electrical, and process problems associated with production equipment to ensure proper operation.
- Provide 24/7 technical support for production.
- Use JDE system to purchase and stock parts.
- Assemble, disassemble, and upgrade production lines or support equipment as required for repairs, upgrades, and installations. Preference for experience with heavy VFD, PLC, and pneumatic, hydraulic systems.
- Schedule and perform preventive maintenance routines on production lines and support equipment.
- Work with contractors to repair, install, remove, or upgrade equipment.
- Weld metal parts and equipment pieces as needed.
- Maintain building and grounds.
- Maintain a safe working environment; report unsafe conditions to management.
- High school diploma or GED required; journeyman certification preferred.
- Two to four years of experience in industrial electrical repair, including drives, instrumentation, and process controls on high‑speed production equipment.
- Basic mechanical and electrical skills; ability to read mechanical and electrical blueprints and schematics.
- Demonstrated troubleshooting and repair of mechanical and electrical systems, including drives, motors, and related equipment.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with little or no supervision.
- Physical requirements:
standing, walking, reaching, climbing, kneeling, bending, and lifting up to 60 lbs occasionally and up to 40 lbs frequently (selected portions of workday).
Wage Rate of $27–$34 per hour based on experience. Specialist pay available.
