Production Associate II
As required by our governmental client, this position requires being a US Citizen.
Assemble wiring and cable assembly products along with other products according to specifications given by customer and tends to machines used to accomplish job.
Compensation & BenefitsEstimated Starting Salary Range for Production Associate B: $16.00
Pay commensurate with experience.

- Builds and fabricates wiring and cable assembly products or other mechanical assemblies according to specifications given by customer.
- Maintains a current certification on all general jobs skills assigned to the program and specific skills as required (ex. Soldering, testing equipment, etc.).
- Reads job documents and specifications to determine material requirements and machine adjustments.
- Loads and sets up machines for depending on process as specified on work order sheet.
- Observes machine operation to detect work piece defects or machine malfunction.
- Measures work piece dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation.
- Performs minor machine maintenance such as oiling machines, dies or work pieces.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or six months of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. At least six months experience.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, drawings and technical descriptions.
- Ability to read tape measure and perform basic math calculations.
- Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; patience; problem solving skills; attention to detail; organization skills; accuracy; time management; basic math skills; ability to assemble products to customer specifications.
- Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
