• Deliver engaging sports and play activities that promote physical development, teamwork, and confidence while supporting children's overall care and wellbeing in line with the EYFS.
• Work collaboratively with your team to create a safe, fun, and active environment.
• Build warm, trusting relationships with children and families through open and supportive communication.
• Ensure activities meet the physical education requirements set by Ofsted and align with EYFS standards.
• Maintain extensive knowledge of safeguarding children and apply safeguarding principles in all sessions.

• Must have at least a Level 2 qualified UK recognised early years qualification, or be willing to complete training through the Kids Planet Training Academy.
• Desirable but not essential to hold a sports‑based qualification.
• Understand the physical education requirements set by Ofsted and the EYFS.
• Extensive knowledge of safeguarding children.
• Completed or have an enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) Certificate; the role requires enhanced checks.
• Commitment to ongoing safeguarding training and regular refresher courses.
