We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated English Teachers to work within secondary schools across Bradford. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced teachers, ECTs, and English specialists looking to make a positive impact in the classroom.
The RoleAs an English Teacher, you will play a key role in developing pupils' reading, writing and communication skills, helping to foster creativity, confidence and a lifelong love of literature.
Key responsibilities include:Teaching English across KS3 and KS4
Planning and delivering engaging and inspiring lessons
Encouraging pupils to develop their reading, writing, speaking and analytical skills
Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
Supporting pupils to achieve their full potential
Contributing to literacy initiatives, enrichment activities and intervention programmes where appropriate
Upholding safeguarding procedures and school expectations at all times
UK QTS or be currently completing teacher training
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English Language and Literature
Excellent communication and classroom management skills
A professional, proactive and flexible approach
A genuine passion for education and supporting student success

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
