Are you an experienced Assembly Technician or Mechanical Fitter looking for your next opportunity?
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and innovative manufacturing company based in Leeds (LS28). Our client is a recognised leader in the design and manufacture of commercial cooking equipment, supplying products to some of the world's most renowned food service and hospitality brands.

The RoleAs an Assembly Technician, you will play a key role in the assembly and manufacture of high-quality equipment, ensuring products meet the highest standards of workmanship and performance.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of three years' experience in a similar assembly, manufacturing, or mechanical fitting environment and demonstrate strong technical and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble large electrical and mechanical components to specification.
- Interpret and work from engineering drawings, technical documents, and assembly instructions.
- Use overhead cranes to safely move and position components and assemblies.
- Ensure all work is completed to the highest quality standards.
- Follow health and safety procedures and company policies at all times.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the production team.
Week 1
- Monday to Friday: 6:00am - 2:00pm
- Monday to Thursday: 12:30pm - 10:00pm

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Previous experience in assembly, mechanical fitting, or manufacturing engineering.
- Experience operating overhead cranes (up to 120 tonnes preferred).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and practical engineering skills.
- The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- A strong focus on health and safety.
- A positive attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
