Overview
SCITT Operations Manager .50 FTE role at Colorado Department of Revenue. Reports directly to the Director of SCITT and collaborates with faculty and colleagues to ensure smooth operation of SCITT education, training, and workforce development activities. Includes outreach, supporting lab work, coordinating field trips, student support, and assisting with administrative tasks and grant management.
Primary Duties- SCITT Training Coordination and Management
:
Organize and coordinate training events, seminars and conferences; schedule trainings; recruit students; answer inquiries; support lab work; arrange field trips; manage purchasing; provide student support. - SCITT Curriculum Coordination and Management
:
Collaborate with the Director and outside instructional design contractors; assist with technology agreements; work with instructional partner companies to design, deliver, maintain, update, and assess curriculum. - SCITT Project Operations and Outreach
:
Provide project management as needed; conduct outreach such as communicating with potential students; prepare and distribute flyers; conduct social media outreach; participate in community events. - Report Preparation and Delivery
:
Draft and edit grant reports; align with grant requirements; support project delivery by creating communications and disseminating results to stakeholders. - Administrative Management
:
Organize and schedule team meetings; prepare agendas; document detailed meeting minutes; manage records and ensure accessible documentation for the team. - Milestone Management
:
Coordinate activities to meet project milestones; track deliverables; follow up on tasks; liaise with stakeholders to promote efficient communication.
$25,000 - $28,500/year for this 0.5 FTE position
Qualifications- Minimum Qualifications
:
Bachelor’s degree; strong written communication skills; experience with roles requiring strong verbal communication skills. - Preferred Qualifications
:
Master’s degree; certifications in project or office management; social media experience (Facebook, Linked In, Instagram, etc.); photo/video editing experience; experience working with students and staff from diverse backgrounds; teaching experience at middle school level or higher.
