Overview
Northwest Respiratory Services is seeking an experienced Per Diem Respiratory Therapist to support our team in Colorado Springs, CO & Pueblo, CO and surrounding areas. We are a leading provider of oxygen and respiratory products throughout the Midwest and Rockies, specializing in serving the long‑term care community and oxygen dependent Veterans. The ideal candidate will pick up extra hours on an as‑needed basis and apply their skill set to home care and skilled nursing facility environments, setting up equipment, providing instruction and ongoing support of high‑technology modalities.
Compensation- Hourly rate: $30.00 – $35.00
- Mileage reimbursement
- Deliver, set up and provide instruction of home medical equipment including oxygen concentrators, liquid oxygen systems, BiPAP, CPAP, overnight and continuous oximetry, humidity systems, suction and pediatric set‑ups.
- Provide routine equipment maintenance, instruction of proper use, safety, cleaning and continuing education to clients.
- Schedule and conduct staff in‑services of respiratory equipment to skilled nursing facilities as requested.
- Serve as a resource to referrals, physicians, clients and NRS staff; assist with troubleshooting of equipment.
- Current RT/RN/LPN license in the state of Wyoming.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to pass a motor vehicle records check and drug test.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Home care experience preferred.
