Job Overview & Responsibilities

At ULA, as a Technical Support Representative (Assembly/Mechanical Technician), you will perform a variety of duties in the mechanical, hydraulic, and/or pneumatic fields. As well as teh below related tasks:

• Be responsible for the assembly of components and various test apparatus
• Troubleshooting and diagnosing sensors
• Use of pressurized and/or cryogenic equipment
• Work from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions
• Operates related equipment
• Conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Familiarity with mechanical and/or electrical assembly, metal fabrication in an aerospace or similar industry
• Familiarity with the use and operation of precision measuring devices
• Familiarity with fabrication, assembly and test of complex mechanical and structural assemblies
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
• Self-motivated, team player willing to adapt within a dynamic work environment
• Ability to work overtime, to include extended shifts and weekends
• Ability to routinely lift 50 pounds
• Ability to follow test procedures
• Ability to understand and adhere to shop practices and safety guidelines

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with instrumentation and data acquisition systems.
• Experience in the use of machine shop equipment (mill, lathe, band saw, grinder, etc).
• Experience in working from drawings, models and other engineering documentation.
• Ability to hand layout, drill and rivet to drawing specifications.

Summary Salary Range (for ULA - Pueblo only)

$39,712.00 - $66,186.00

Please note that the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon a candidate's experience and qualifications, as well as internal equity, market and business considerations. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in addition to base pay.
