Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist - Anesthesia

Schedule

• Work days:
  Monday to Friday
• 5 days a week for 8 hours each day (5x8)
• 4 days a week for 10 hours each day (4x10)
• 3 days a week for 12 hours each day (3x12)
• Flexible scheduling is available
• No on-call duty
• You will work 40 hours a week unless you ask for time off
• Full-time work is preferred, but part-time is okay
• Weekend work is also accepted
• You do not work on holidays, but you may work other days for 12-hour shifts

• Working with children (PEDS) is preferred but not necessary
• Experience in Gastroenterology (GI) is strongly preferred. GI schedule would be Monday to Thursday (4x10)

• Hospital-based work
• Average of 25 surgeries each day
• 80% general surgery
• 10% complex vascular surgery
• 10% complex orthopedic surgery
• Fellowship training for heart or children's cases is not needed
• You will work at nearby locations, just across the street

• The team has 11 anesthesiologists and 28 CRNAs
• The care model is team-based, with a supervision ratio of about 1 doctor for every 4 staff, usually closer to 1 doctor for every 2 or 3 staff
• There are 10 operating rooms
• Equipment used in the OR: GE Care station 650s
• EMR system: EPIC

• Full-Time Equivalent (FTE): 4
• Required skills:
  
  General Anesthesia for adults
• Preferred skills:
  Spinal Anesthesia, neurosurgery (spine), complex vascular surgeries (not open heart), and complex orthopedic surgeries
• Credentialing is approved for emergency situations

• Must have an active Colorado license
• Must have active BLS certification
• Must share how many years of experience you have with EPIC and the month/year of your last use of EPIC
• Must have a clean malpractice and background history
• Must be COVID vaccinated
