We offer flexible online booking so you can achieve the ultimate work‑life balance: select your shifts with no minimum or maximum requirement, choose from a variety of weekend and weekday hours, determine your own rate for each relief shift, and continue your practice activities outside of Vetco shifts—all without agency fees.

Our appointment‑based model helps manage traffic, getting you out the door on time. We provide trained, experienced staff to handle operations, leaving you to focus on delivering the best care and patient experience. Vetco Vaccination Clinics offer wellness examinations, preventive vaccinations and medications, heartworm testing, and microchip insertion—no surgeries, emergencies, or sick visits. Clinics are located inside Petco retail locations and are staffed to manage operations and safely restrain pets.

Vetco Total Care Hospitals provide preventive care, diagnostic workups, outpatient surgeries, and dental procedures. Relief shifts are coordinated with the area medical director, and hospitals are equipped with digital patient records, surgical suites, Butterfly IQ+ handheld ultrasound imaging, digital and dental X‑ray systems, Vetology Radiograph Interpretation AI, and on‑site labs. Licensed and trained hospital staff manage the facility, with no overnights or emergency on‑call.

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine state license in good standing
• State‑specific licensing to perform all shift functions, including blood draws and vaccine administration
• DEA registration in good standing preferred for full‑service Vetco Total Care hospital relief shifts
• Ability to provide Professional Liability Insurance and license defense policy
• Compliance with all local, state, and federal mandates
