WHAT YOU WILL DO:
The Guest Experience Attendant ensures a pleasurable dining experience by maintaining cleanliness and presentation in the bar areas, floors, and restrooms during peak periods. They must be attentive, helpful, and friendly in appearance and personality.
ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Guest Service:
- Assist guests by describing menu offerings and buffet locations.
- Ensure product availability and inquire with back-of-house staff about restocking.
- Help guests and assist at buffets as needed.
- Remain friendly and courteous at all times.
Cleanliness:
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar areas, floors, and restrooms.
- Report cleaning or maintenance needs to the Utility Person or Manager.
- Dispose of trash and sweep floors around the buffet.
- Follow local health laws.
Adherence to Standards:
- Report equipment issues to the Manager.
- Monitor buffet food quality and presentation, notifying staff of any issues.
- Follow health regulations.
- Perform other duties to ensure a pleasurable dining experience.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SPECIALIZED TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
Successful completion of Safe Tracks and certification through Golden Corral’s training program. Food preparation experience is preferred but not required. Food handler certification may be required in some states.
Position involves standing and walking for 3-4+ hours, lifting 5-50 lbs., bending, reaching, and using cleaning tools. Compliance with uniform and company policies is required.
