Job Overview
Store Manager at Car-X Tire & Auto in Pueblo, CO. The Store Manager leads daily operations, supports sales, service, and inventory, and delivers a consistent 5-star guest experience.
Responsibilities- Develop sales and technical teammates to produce a consistent 5-star Guest experience.
- Ensure sales goals are achieved through coaching, sales planning, and product knowledge.
- Introduce tire and service products to guests to maximize sales and satisfaction.
- Train and develop teammates on shop operations and guest services.
- Provide direction to technicians and assist with services/repairs as needed.
- Manage recruiting, hiring, training, scheduling, performance evaluation, and development of teammates.
- Control expenses by managing payroll, maintenance, supplies, utilities, and other controllable costs.
- Handle inventory management – pulling tires and parts, unloading, and stocking.
- Audit courtesy inspections performed by teammates.
- Maintain store cleanliness and guest-ready condition per Monro standards.
- Schedule guest appointments and assign teammates based on skill level.
- Inform guests about tire and service products, sales promotions, repairs, and adjustments.
- Build guest relationships to maximize customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention.
- Convey repair and service needs to guests.
- Adhere to company policies, governmental standards, environmental codes, and safety procedures.
- Maintain technical knowledge through Monro University training courses.
- Operate equipment safely following Monro and manufacturer guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned and required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a retail/sales environment.
- Ability to manage, drive, and deliver financial results while controlling costs.
- Strong influence and motivation skills to achieve set goals.
- Problem-solving skills in inventory, merchandising, and customer service.
- Excellent communication skills with teammates and guests.
- Complete all Monro required training on schedule.
- Valid driver’s license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
Physical Requirements
- Flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to lift or carry merchandise up to 50 lbs. without assistance.
- Frequent standing and walking for extended periods.
- Frequent reaching overhead and below the knees, including squatting, bending, stooping, kneeling, and twisting.

The yearly salary for this role ranges from $65,000 to $75,000, with additional compensation and incentives based on performance.
