Pueblo, CO | Pay Range: $25–$33 per hour

Thalle Construction Co. Inc. is a heavy civil construction company serving projects throughout the Southeast, Texas, and New Jersey, with growth nationwide. Established in 1947, Thalle seeks a CDL Driver to support operations from our office in Pueblo, CO.

• Operate assigned delivery vehicle safely and efficiently.
• Drive vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) over 26,000 lbs and pull a towed weight over 10,000 lbs.
• Operate combinations of quad axle dump truck, flatbed truck with knuckle boom, and flatbed truck with trailer.
• Transport pipe, embedment, construction materials, and spoil between project locations and laydown facilities.
• Ensure trailer hitch is properly attached and contents are secured to prevent damage.
• Safely load, unload, and assist teammates.
• Map driving routes and confirm shipment contents match manifest.
• Perform pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections.
• Check weather and road conditions; maintain vehicle cleanliness.
• Maintain and service vehicle as needed; report maintenance or delivery issues.
• Keep detailed driving and delivery logs; track and report working hours.
• Adhere to company rules, DOT regulations, and all applicable traffic laws.

• Valid CDL driver’s license.
• At least 2 years of proven driving experience.
• Clean driving record with no moving violations.
• Skilled and confident driver, comfortable maneuvering and parking a tractor‑trailer.
• Alert, focused, and detail‑oriented.
• Physically and mentally fit.
• Preferred: ability to operate skid steer or telehandler.
• Proficient with GPS and routing systems.
• Disciplined, dependable, and resourceful.

• Perform physical activities requiring use of arms and legs, including climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials.
• Lift up to 94 pounds short distances (20 ft or less) and light objects longer distances.
• Perform heavy lifting with repeated stooping, carrying, and bending over time.
• Work long shifts with non‑standard break times, in various weather conditions.
• Good hand‑eye coordination and quick reaction times; able to sit for long periods.
• Wear required safety gear (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, safety‑toed boots).
• Enter vehicle cab 3.5 ft or higher off the ground.
• Maintain regular, punctual attendance; comply with ADA, FMLA, and other standards.
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs; communicate clearly on telephone.
