Plant Controller

Aegis Worldwide is partnered with a successful manufacturer in the Pulaski, TN area and they are seeking an experienced Plant Controller to oversee all accounting and financial operations at the plant level. This is a hands‑on leadership role responsible for full‑cycle accounting, financial reporting, and guiding accounting staff to ensure accurate and timely financial results.

Location: Pulaski, TN

• Oversee all accounting functions for the manufacturing plant
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements
• Manage and support Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes
• Maintain and oversee the general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliations
• Lead month‑end and year‑end close processes
• Oversee fixed asset accounting, depreciation, and asset tracking
• Develop and manage budgets and forecasts; analyze variances and performance
• Ensure accuracy, compliance, and consistency in financial reporting
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff; provide guidance and process improvements
• Partner with plant leadership to support operational and financial decision‑making

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Proven experience overseeing full‑cycle accounting functions
• Strong understanding of financial statements and cost drivers in manufacturing
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience required
• Proficiency with accounting/ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
