LPNT - RN: Med​/Surg - Detox Hillside Hospital; Pulaski, TN

Join our team at Hillside Hospital, part of the Southern Tennessee Regional Health System, located in Pulaski, TN. Our facility is a 95-bed, Joint Commission-accredited acute care hospital providing vital services to Giles County and the surrounding area.

  Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility

• Certifications:
  
  BLS, ALS, PALS (Handle with care post-hire)
• Experience:
  
  Preferred 5 years, acceptable with 3 years
• Education:
  
  ASN minimum;
  Licensure/certification to work as an RN in TN
• Must be checked against the Tennessee Abuse Registry prior to start

• Patient Ratios: 1:7
• Equipment: IV pumps, Zoll monitor, IV catheters
• EHR: HMS/Medhost

Ages 18 to Geriatric (occasionally 17-year-old patients).

• Patient care for all ages
• Bedside shift report
• IV access
• Preferred:
  Experience with CIWA/COWS, assist with bedside procedures such as picc lines/midlines

Substance abuse, polysubstance abuse, ETOH, underlying behavioral conditions, hypertension, syncope, seizures, liver disease, cognitive changes, high fall risk. Treatments include valium tapers, subutex, vivitrol, banana bags, and rescue medications.
