NHC Pulaski is seeking a Life Enrichment Assistant to work with our patients.

The Life Enrichment Assistant is responsible for providing recreation opportunities that meet the physical, social, mental, emotional and/or spiritual needs of each patient while creating an atmosphere of fun and enjoyment.

• High school degree or GED
• Ability to work with elderly patients/residents
• Willingness to learn new ideas and skills
• A sense of humor; ability to laugh at success and failure
• Ability to work with partners, family members, and community
• Patience, good organizational skills, assertiveness, and conscientiousness
• Professional appearance
• Flexible working hours, including weekends or evenings

• Respectful and supportive to supervisor
• Assist the Recreation Director in assessing patients to determine their activity interests and needs
• Support creation of therapeutic programs that meet each patient's individual needs
• Provide activities that meet the physical, social, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs of each patient while fostering an atmosphere of fun and enjoyment, including individualized one‑to‑one programs
• Support positive public relations with the community, partners, patients, and families
• Follow NHC Standards and the 20 Better Way Promises
