This job description has been prepared as a guide to ensure better communication, clear expectations and understanding of the role of Process Technician. All responsibilities have not been included;
Supervisors and Managers may from time to time ask the Process Technician to perform other related duties not specifically included in this description. This description will be reviewed annually by the Department Manager and revised if needed to meet the business needs of TI Automotive Systems, Inc.

We are in need of 3rd shift Process Technicians.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with training new employees to work standards and Quality Objectives utilizing team work and positive attitude
  • To monitor all plant production equipment. Ensuring that quality parts are produced efficiently and safely by the accurate installation and maintenance of equipment.
  • Ensure all process equipment functions accurately meeting cycle times and quality standards by:
  • Continually monitoring all vital systems involved in the production process and adjusts to meet quality and production standards.
  • Assisting material handlers in the performance of their duties.
  • Making corrections where necessary and possible; report such correction and problems to the Production Manager/ Group Leader.
  • Ensure there is no quality or production interruption or errors due to your lack of giving or seeking information by.
  • Fully informing the Plant Manager of all events affecting the shifts production capacity.
  • Use shift overlap period to exchange information about shift operation and any special instructions from the previous Group Leader.
  • Recommend, participate with the Group/ Team Leader in discussions regarding possible changes to improve quality of products.
  • Inform immediate Group Leader and/or Q.A. when quality problems occur.
  • Report to Group Leader any defect in equipment or protective device of which the worker is aware and which may endanger him/her or another worker.
  • Contribute to a work environment free from harassment, where fairness, equity and non
    -discriminatory practices are standard
  • Adhere to the Quality Policy and Environmental Policy as they relate to ISO 9001:2015 (QMS) / ISO 14001:2015 (EMS) / IATF  (AQMS)

Required Qualifications

  • Technical Certificate or 6-months Blow molding/injection experience
  • Organizational skills
  • Basic hand tools required
