Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (Travel Contract)

Pulaski, TN | Acute Care

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Expected 36 hours/week

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department serving all age populations
• Maintain a patient ratio of 5:1 across a unit with 7 beds, 2 psychiatric rooms, and 2 hall beds
• Utilize the EDIS electronic health record system to document and manage patient information
• Respond calmly and effectively to emergent and chaotic clinical situations, demonstrating confident clinical judgment
• Float to other areas of the facility as needed and fulfill call requirements as assigned
• Adhere to all facility dress code, safety, and behavioral expectations, including professional conduct standards

• Active RN licensure valid for practice in the state of Tennessee
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience
• Required certifications prior to start: ACLS, BLS, ENPC, HWC, PALS, TNCC
• Must be cleared through the Tennessee Abuse Registry prior to assignment start date
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible as a travel candidate

• Experience working in a Joint Commission-accredited acute care facility
• Familiarity with EDIS or similar emergency department information systems
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with existing staff and contribute positively to department processes

• Opportunity to work within a regional acute care network serving a diverse patient population across southern Tennessee
• Weekend rotation is every other weekend, offering a degree of schedule predictability in a travel assignment
