General Comments:
Unit specifics include a total of 36 beds with a patient ratio of 5:1.
Staffing includes monitor techs and clinical techs, with all staff rotating as techs if needed.
The type of equipment used on the unit includes Stryker beds, phones, and headsets for effective communication with patients and coworkers.
The documentation system utilized is Meditech.
Scheduling requirements include working every other weekend and some holidays.
Staff may be required to float as needed if census drops.
Patient experience requirements involve hourly rounding and participation in daily huddles.
The unit has received awards for performing in the top 10 percent of the company.
The work environment features great ratios and acuity-based assignments.
Other amenities include new beds, new vital sign machines, and a vein finder.
