Lewis Gale Regional Health System is actively hiring for 2025 and 2026 Nurse Residencies. Our Lewis Gale Hospital Pulaski offers a supportive environment where you can grow and transition from a student nurse to a registered nurse.

The HCA Nurse Residency Program is a year-long, paid program that provides hands‑on experience and a structured series of learning experiences, including:

• Advanced clinical training in a specialty area.
• Monthly educational sessions.
• Preceptorship training with a facility preceptor.
• Measurement and evaluation of skills through hands‑on simulations.
• Mentoring from experienced nurse leaders.
• Collaborative evidence‑based practice project participation.

The RN Resident will coordinate and deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care, while collaborating with medical providers and care team members. The role includes:

• Assessing patient condition during admission and each shift.
• Performing procedures, monitoring, and documenting care in the medical record.
• Administering prescribed medications and monitoring therapeutic responses.
• Responding promptly to patient requests and anticipating patient needs.
• Teaching patients, families, and caregivers about their medical conditions and care plans.

• BLS certification within 30 days of employment.
• ACLS certification within 1 year of employment.
• Additional certifications may be required during employment.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Registered Nurse license or Graduate Nurse status in the state.
• No previous experience required.
• Possible travel for training.
