Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT)

Position Summary
We are seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate is motivated, detail-oriented, and passionate about providing excellent patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during exams, procedures, and surgeries
• Perform laboratory tests, radiographs, and patient monitoring
• Administer medications and treatments as directed
• Provide nursing care for hospitalized and surgical patients, monitoring patients under general anesthesia.
• Educate clients on preventive care and post-treatment instructions
• Maintain accurate medical records
• Support a clean, organized, and efficient clinic environment

Qualifications

• Current Virginia LVT license (required)
• Strong technical and animal-handling skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Compassionate approach to patients and clients
