** Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related discipline from an accredited institution.
* Relevant construction industry experience in the U.S. and a proven record of collaborative work within the construction industry.
* Demonstrated ability to teach core curriculum courses (e.g. materials and methods, project management/project delivery, construction cost accounting, construction law, estimating, BIM/VDC, and scheduling) in the undergraduate B.S. Construction Management program and allied disciplines in the school.
* Willingness and ability to engage with students and industry partners, including the mentorship of students from a wide range of disciplines and academic backgrounds.
* Five (5) or more years of domestic construction and/or engineering experience, a bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture or a related field, as well as a Master of Business Administration or equivalent; OR
* Five (5) or more years of domestic construction and/or engineering experience, and a master’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture or a related field; OR
* Ten (10) or more years of domestic construction and/or engineering experience, and a bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture or a related field.
* Professional registration/certification such as PE, AIA, LEED, WELL, CPC, PMP, or DBIA.
* Demonstrated higher education teaching experience in a construction management program.
* Five (5) or more years of construction industry experience in one or more of the following construction market sectors: commercial, large-scale residential construction, heavy civil, infrastructure, or specialty contracting.
* Demonstrated interpersonal skills, including collaboration and teamwork.
