About the Role:

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) is seeking an Azure Data Engineer with 2+ years of hands‑on Azure experience to join our growing team. Our data team supports a wide range of internal customers including Finance, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Sales by delivering scalable, secure, and high‑impact data solutions.

• Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines using Azure Data Factory
  , Azure SQL
  , Azure Data Lake
  , Azure Stream Analytics
  , and Power BI Premium
  .
• Work with on‑premises tools such as SQL Server
  , SSIS
  , and SSAS to integrate legacy systems with modern cloud solutions.
• Design normalized relational and/or dimensional data models for OLTP and OLAP systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement enterprise reporting models.
• Administer and optimize our data solutions for performance, scalability and reliability.

• Bring 2+ years of hands‑on experience with Azure data services in a professional setting.
• Have a strong grasp of data modeling, SQL
  , and cloud‑based data architecture

Associate Data Engineer: $84,240 – $124,461. Data Engineer: $97,740 – $144,460. Lead Data Engineer: $115,290 – $170,349. We base our starting pay offer on location and job‑related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills. Our ranges are determined by job, responsibility, and location.
