Typical Day- Designing, implementing, securing, and supporting cloud native and on-prem infrastructure.
- Automating infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and performing capacity planning.
- Collaborating with developers in IS and R&D to support SEL’s mission of making electric power safer, more reliable, and more economical.
- Identifying and mitigating risks in deployment and operational environments.
- Creating and maintaining clear, thorough documentation for systems and processes.
- Managing and executing infrastructure-related projects.
- Have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Have 2+ years of experience in Dev Ops, system administration, or a related technical role.
- Are proficient with tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Git, and Terraform or similar.
- Have experience automating infrastructure and configuration management.
- Embrace dynamic, fast-paced environments and adapt well to rapid change.
- Have a desire for life-long learning to stay current with evolving technologies.
- Can participate in an after-hours on-call rotation.
- Practice absolute confidentiality and unquestionable ethics.
- Have excellent customer service commitment.
- Possess strong writing, documentation, and communication skills.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Power Shell.
- Technical background and knowledge of manufacturing and/or engineering processes.

Associate Dev Ops Engineer: $84,240 - $124,461, Dev Ops Engineer $97,740 - $144,460 per year. We are open to reviewing additional candidates with more or less experience and the pay range may differ if filled at a different level. Our pay ranges are determined by job, responsibility, and location. We base our starting pay offer and title on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
