Come join our Failure Analysis Lab as an Associate Quality Engineer! We are an inquisitive group, analyzing component failures to determine root cause and prevent future failures for our customers and manufacturing team. We troubleshoot component failures using a variety of methods, ranging from functional testing in our electronics laboratory, to destructive testing in our failure analysis laboratory. If you are a natural problem solver and have a solid electrical engineering background, we would love to have you help us find the root cause of every defect!
Asan Associate Quality Engineer in the Failure Analysis Lab, a typical day might include the following:
- Leading technicians with troubleshooting and characterizing electrical based on data sheets and drawing specifications.
- Guiding technicians in developing test methods and techniques for electrical evaluation.
- Training quality specialists and technicians as required.
- Operating measurement equipment such as curve tracers, oscilloscopes, digital multi-meters, LCR meters, and other electronics equipment.
- Preparing, conducting, and documenting reliability testing, in collaboration with various engineers.
- Using X-ray systems and optical microscopes in support of component troubleshooting.
- Assisting fellow engineers with electrical and failure analysis.
- You have in-depth knowledge of analog and digital electronics and electronic circuits.
- You have in-depth knowledge of mechanical drawings, data sheets, specifications, and materials.
- You are skilled with modern test equipment.
- You have excellent problem-solving skills.
- You have strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.
- Familiarity with programming languages (C, C++, python, etc.).
- Experience with computer equipment and operating systems.
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or an Electronics Discipline.
- 2-3 years of experience in electrical engineering or electrical analysis.
- Working knowledge of electronics failure analysis.
- Working knowledge of reliability testing methods.

Associate Quality Engineer: $84,240– $124,461 We are open to reviewing additional candidates with more or less experience, and the pay range may differ if filled at a different level. Our pay ranges are determined by job, responsibility, and location. We base our starting pay offer and title on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
