As an Engineering Technician a typical day might include the following:
- Implement custom designed automated assembly processes.
- Write and/or conduct experiments in support of department objectives.
- Write system documentation and work instructions.
- Program custom designed control systems.
- Participate in system specifications, system design, and design reviews.
- Train assemblers, operators, and maintenance staff as needed.
- Provide support to engineering staff and management as needed.
- Two-year technical associate degree including industrial automation courses
- Minimum 3 years experience providing process automation and engineering support in a manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of basic analog and digital electronics, PLC programming, and vision systems
- Working knowledge of IEC 1131-3 programming methods
- Familiarity with modern test equipment
- Experience troubleshooting process and machinery problems
- Experience with CAD tools such as Autocad and Solidworks
- Experience writing and/or conducting Design of Experiments
- Experience programming and maintaining automated manufacturing equipment and machinery

$35.83 - $52.95 per hour. We are open to reviewing additional candidates with more or less experience and the pay range may differ if filled at a different level. We base our starting pay offer and title on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
