** As an Engineering Technician a typical day might include the following:*
* * Implement custom designed automated assembly processes.
* Write and/or conduct experiments in support of department objectives.
* Write system documentation and work instructions.
* Program custom designed control systems.
* Participate in system specifications, system design, and design reviews.
* Train assemblers, operators, and maintenance staff as needed.
* Provide support to engineering staff and management as needed.
** This job might be for you if you have:
*** Two-year technical associate degree including industrial automation courses
* Minimum 3 years experience providing process automation and engineering support in a manufacturing environment
* Working knowledge of basic analog and digital electronics, PLC programming, and vision systems
* Working knowledge of IEC 1131-3 programming methods
* Familiarity with modern test equipment
** It would be nice if you had:
*** Experience troubleshooting process and machinery problems
* Experience with CAD tools such as Autocad and Solidworks
* Experience writing and/or conducting Design of Experiments
* Experience programming and maintaining automated manufacturing equipment and machinery

** Salary Range Data**$35.83 - $52.95 per hour. We are open to reviewing additional candidates with more or less experience and the pay range may differ if filled at a different level. We base our starting pay offer and title on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
