Registered Nurse; RN MED SURG

JOB SUMMARY

A Registered Nurse (RN) partnering with Radiant Medical Staffing will work with our Acute Care Critical Access Hospitals to provide day to day nursing care and ensure the safety of patients. The ideal candidate will be a responsible and well-trained professional able to give quality nursing care under MD supervision.

• Provide primary care to patients with varying backgrounds and medical histories in a acute care med-surg setting
• Obtain and administer prescribed medications and treatment in accordance with approved nursing techniques
• Ensure resident’s chart is current and documentation is accurate
• Assess patient for change of condition
• Keep resident’s family and physician informed of any changes in resident behavior, medications, or conditions of health
• Communicate needs of patient to outside providers including but not limited to:
  Primary Care Provider, Home Health Agency, Pharmacy, etc
• Complete incident and accident investigation in collaboration with other clinical personnel when necessary
• Other duties as assigned

• Registered Nurse (RN) Licensure in the state of practice
• Minimum of 1 year Med Surg experience in an acute care setting
• BLS
• PALS
