Role Overview

We are hiring an experienced Accountant (3–5 years) to support a global client’s accounting operations. This role is ideal for professionals with strong Workday Financial Management experience, solid accounting fundamentals, and the ability to independently manage close activities and client interactions.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle end-to-end day-to-day accounting including journal entries, GL maintenance, and reconciliations
- Work extensively on Workday Financial Management for transactions, validations, and reporting
- Own and support month-end and year-end close processes within defined timelines
- Prepare and review financial reports, statements, and supporting schedules
- Ensure compliance with client accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Resolve accounting discrepancies and respond to client and stakeholder queries
- Maintain accurate, audit-ready documentation and financial records
- Support process improvements and ad-hoc accounting requirements

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field
- 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a client-facing or shared services environment
- Hands-on Workday Financial Management experience (mandatory)
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial controls
- Experience supporting month-end / year-end close cycles
- Proficiency in MS Excel for reconciliations and reporting
- High attention to detail, ownership mindset, and ability to meet client deadlines
- Good communication skills for client and internal coordination
