Role Description  The Article Assistant internship role at A N Bobade & Associates Chartered Accountants is an on-site position based in the Pune Division. The Article Assistant will support day-to-day activities such as assisting with accounting entries, preparing working papers, and maintaining financial records under guidance. The role includes helping with tax computations, GST-related work, compliance documentation, and audit support tasks such as vouching, reconciliations, and data compilation.

The Article Assistant will also contribute to drafting reports, organizing client files, and coordinating basic communication with clients as directed by senior team members. This internship offers hands-on exposure to practical aspects of accounting, taxation, and audit, with structured learning and mentorship from the partners and senior staff.
Qualifications

Strong foundation or ongoing studies in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or related field, with basic knowledge of core accounting principles.
Interest and aptitude in Direct Tax, GST, and regulatory compliance, with willingness to learn current laws and standards.
Comfort with working on spreadsheets and accounting software; ability to manage documentation and maintain organized records.
Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and ability to analyze financial data and reconciliations.
Clear written and verbal communication skills in English and local language, with a professional and client-focused approach.
Strong work ethic, willingness to take responsibility, and ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment.
Enrollment in CA course or intention to pursue professional qualifications in accounting or finance is an advantage.
Prior internship or practical exposure in accounting or taxation is beneficial but not mandatory.
