Manager - Audit and Assurance

Established in 2003 and headquartered in Pune, with offices in Pune, Mumbai, Banagalore and Sambhajinagar, the firm serves domestic and international SMEs and startups.

Role Description  The Manager – Audit and Assurance are two full-time, on-site roles each based in Pune and Vashi, Mumbai.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Statutory, Internal, and Tax Audits, along with Due Diligence assignments.
Review financial statements for compliance with Accounting Standards, Companies Act, GST, and Income Tax laws.
Plan and execute audits, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
Advise startups and SMEs on financial, compliance, and internal control matters.
Mentor and review the work of Audit Associates, CA Articles, and Semi-Qualified Professionals.
Review audit reports and liaise with clients, regulators, and other stakeholders.
Stay updated on changes in accounting, tax, and regulatory requirements.

Locations:
Pune(Shivajinagar) and Mumbai(Vashi)

Qualifications
Strong Accounting and Finance skills, including a solid understanding of accounting standards and financial reporting frameworks.
Proficiency in Financial Audits and Financial Statements, with experience in planning, executing, and reviewing audit engagements.
Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, evaluate internal controls, and identify risks and improvement areas.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership abilities, with a focus on mentoring and collaboration.
Professional qualification - Chartered Accountant (CA); relevant audit firm at a managerial or near-manager level.
Strong working knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and auditing standards; familiarity with diverse industry sectors and MSMEs is an advantage.
High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Tally, Zoho Books, and accounting systems.
Candidate Profile
Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
1–3 years of post-qualification experience in Audit, Assurance, and Compliance.
Prior experience in a CA Firm, Consulting Firm, or Business Advisory Firm is preferred.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to independently manage client portfolios.
