UI​/UX Design Intern

Mahir is a SEBI-Registered Investment Adviser (RIA) focused on helping investors make informed and disciplined long-term financial decisions. We combine research, technology, and a structured investment approach to build simple and useful financial products for investors.

Role Description
We are looking for a  UI/UX Designer Intern  to join our team in Pune. You will work closely with our product and development teams to design clean, simple, and user-friendly experiences for our web and mobile products.
This is an  on-site internship  where you will get hands-on experience working on real fintech products.

Responsibilities
Create UI designs for web and mobile applications.
Create wireframes, user flows, and mockups.
Build basic interactive prototypes in  Figma .
Work on existing and new product screens.
Make design improvements based on feedback.
Maintain consistency in fonts, colors, spacing, and components.
Work with developers to help implement designs correctly.
Research and understand how users interact with financial products.
Explore and learn modern UI/UX design practices.

Requirements
Good understanding of  UI/UX fundamentals .
Strong knowledge of  Figma .
Ability to create clean and detailed UI designs.
Basic understanding of wireframes, user flows, and prototyping.
Good understanding of typography, spacing, colors, and visual hierarchy.
Basic knowledge of responsive web and mobile design.
Good attention to detail.
A portfolio or previous UI/UX projects will be preferred.
Students or recently graduated candidates can apply.

Internship Details

Pune — On-site
Stipend:  ₹15,000 per month
Duration:  6 months
Work Mode:  Full-time, On-site

Candidates who perform well during the internship may have an opportunity to continue with Mahir as a  full-time UI/UX Designer .
