Location:

MIT ADT University, Loni Kalbhor, Pune
Pay range and compensation package:  Based on experience and qualifications (Upto 80K per month)

About the Company

The MIT School of Corporate Innovation & Leadership (SCIL) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Faculty member for Competitive Aptitude to deliver high-quality training and mentorship to students, preparing them for campus placements, entrance exams for higher studies, and various competitive examinations. The role involves curriculum development, interactive classroom instruction, assessment, and continuous student progress monitoring to ensure industry-readiness and overall professional development.

Responsibilities
Teaching and Content Delivery
Conduct engaging sessions on core competitive aptitude areas:
Quantitative Aptitude (Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry, Data Interpretation, etc.)
Logical Reasoning (Analytical, Verbal, Non-Verbal Reasoning, Puzzles, Series, etc.)
Verbal Ability (Grammar, Vocabulary, Reading Comprehension, Sentence Correction, etc.)
Develop and implement innovative teaching methodologies, including shortcut techniques and problem-solving strategies for time-bound competitive exams.
Utilize digital tools and platforms for enhanced and blended learning experiences.
Clarify student doubts and provide personalized guidance to learners of varying skill levels.

2 .  Curriculum and Assessment
Design and update course content, lesson plans, practice sheets, and mock tests aligned with the latest patterns of various competitive and placement exams (e.g., CAT, GATE, GRE, Banking, SSC, and campus-specific aptitude tests like AMCAT, CoCubes).
Conduct regular formative and summative assessments, analyze student performance data, and provide constructive feedback.
Track student progress and organize remedial coaching or advanced sessions (like SCIL Scholar Batch) as needed.
Contribute to the continuous improvement and innovation of the Department of Professional and Aptitude Skills curriculum.

3. Mentorship and Career Guidance
Serve as a mentor to students, helping them build confidence, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Coordinate with the Career Advancements team for company-specific grooming and mock interview preparation.
Instill a principle-centered, character-based approach to development, aligning with SCIL's overall philosophy.

Administrative and Research
Maintain accurate records of attendance, performance, and student feedback.
Participate actively in departmental meetings, faculty development programs, and university events.
Stay updated on emerging exam trends and industry requirements to ensure training relevance.

Qualifications

Education:

A Master's Degree (M.E./ MTech., M.Sc. in Mathematics / Statistics, MBA, or equivalent) from a recognized institution. SET / NET is preferable.

Experience:

Minimum 3-6 years of proven experience in training students for the  Competitive Aptitude  section of various placement, government, or higher education entrance exams in a reputed educational institution or training centre.

Required Skills
Exceptional subject matter expertise in Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, and Verbal Ability.
Outstanding communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.
Demonstrated ability to motivate and engage a diverse student body.

Preferred Skills
A strong score in a major competitive exam (e.g., CAT, GATE, GMAT, or a high-profile government exam).
Experience in developing e-learning content or teaching in an online/hybrid format.
Knowledge of emerging employability skills and assessment platforms.
